February 23rd Meeting – Cisco Data Center Update

The February 23rd meeting will be on the Cisco Data Center Update presented by Presido. Joshua Engle, Senior Network Engineer, will be speaking about Nexus and Brian Baggarly, Senior Data Center Engineer, will be speaking about UCS.

We will have some Cisco Press books to give away.

The meeting will be from 12:00 – 1:30 at IT-oLogy, which is located at Suite 200, 1301 Gervais St., Columbia SC 29201.

CCUG – Meeting Topics for 2012

Been working on the details of next year meetings.

So far I got the following,

-Security, possible sponsor a local consultant company that offer firewall services. Lab would be setting up a ASA

-Wireless, possible sponsor a local consultant company that offer wireless solutions. Lab would be setting up a Wireless LAN Controller

-MPLS, possible sponsor a local telecom to talk about their MPLS services. Lab would be setting up a MPLS network with VRFs

-Routing/Switch, possible sponsor Cisco with product update. Lab would be setting up basic switch and router network.

Let me know what everyone thinks? I would like to have between 4 – 6 meetings next year.
